Blessed with a GREAT crew this year!

It is always important that our farm “family” is able to get along for the entire season. We are together SO MUCH. We work together all day long, not to mention we have a big “Farm Lunch” together meaning we don’t even get a break from each other during lunch, so I have to say that WE are thankful for such dedicated and conscientious apprentices this year. They have helped make this farming season very successful in feeding our CSA and tailgate market customers which is SO MUCH WORK with our season spent seeding transplants, hoeing, harvesting/processing/packaging, listening to Carl and I discuss (some might say argue) farm priorities, etc., etc., etc… Sabrina and Noah are excellent cooks and have made us some DELICIOUS lunches, which are always interesting, and something so important to us because our big meal is in the middle of the day.
Sabrina and Noah toasting to their first farming season! (Noah is toasting with water….) Thanks to Josh and Meredith for the Wedge.

Josh and Meredith stayed with us a couple weeks ago and, as a hospitality gift, gave us a bottle of Wedge. DELICIOUS…. REFRSHING…. They shouldn’t have given us such a gift being struggling farmers traveling Western NC. WE LOVED IT… AND ENJOYED YOU SO COME VISIT AGAIN….
