This versatile herb goes well in a wide array of dishes. Any soup is better with it, scrambled eggs take on a whole new persona, and mashed potatoes gain a savory warmth. Fish is enhanced, as is any type of poultry. This lemon dill salad dressing is great. We love making ranch salad dressing where we substitute our cultured cream for sour cream. Our family frequently makes this traditional lemon dill trout but we usually have substituted the trout for the “catch of the day”. This herb is a staple in tzatziki sauce. If you feel that this is too much dill to use, either dry your dill or consider making a dill vinegar.
Sold in 1/4 pound bunches.
