Lettuce: Red OakLeaf

True to its name, the individual leaves of oakleaf lettuce are deeply lobed and shaped like the leaves of oak trees.  We typically offer both green and red oak lettuce varieties,  Our red oakleaf is known for it’s gorgeous deep cherry-red  color and its great flavor and leaf texture. Either this balsamic vinaigrette, or if you are like us this buttermilk salad dressing or perhaps this lemon ginger tahini dressing is all the lettuce needs and it becomes a salad that satisfies our craving.

Sold each weighing approximately 1/2 pound. Occasionally, when heads are small, multiple heads are bunched together.
