Basil: Purple

This basil has a stunning color and can be chopped in salads for color and flavor.  Blend this with Genovese basil for bruchetta while tomatoes are in season for an excellent snack, or if you are like us, you serve bruchetta as a meal!   Finely chop and add it to salad dressings, soups, pasta with julienne vegetables and to season rice wine vinegar for cooking purposes. It is very refreshing hot or cold tea.
