Sausage: Hot Italian Links

These are a very popular pork product, because not only are they tasty, but they can easily accompany almost any dinner. We do not consider these hot to our taste palate, but love the sweetness of the herbs, offset by a touch of spice. Spices: salt, red pepper, fennel and paprika. One of our favorite kale soup recipes uses this sausage. Also, we love this sausage in stuffed green peppers in the summer when peppers are in abundance. This recipe for Italian Sausage and Peppers is another summer favorite of ours when both peppers and basil are available. We frequently make sandwich with sausage and peppers using ciabatta bread from Annie’s Bakery which is incredibly delicious.
