Our greek yogurt is sold by the quart. Sold for pet use only – not for human consumption. This yogurt isn’t fermented as long as much of the yogurt in the store because our preference is for a sweet yogurt over the typical tanginess that many folks have associated with yogurt. Since this is a fermented product, our yogurt should keep in the refrigerator for a few weeks, retaining it’s original flavor. The bacteria used to make yogurt are called “yogurt cultures,” which ferment lactose, the natural sugar found in milk. The process of fermentation produces lactic acid, a substance that causes milk proteins to curdle, giving yogurt its unique flavor and texture. Our yogurt contains NO ADDED SUGAR like many products found in the grocery store.
