These pickling cucumbers are great for quick refrigerator pickles, but are also wonderful on salads, sandwiches and just eating plain. When cucumbers, tomatoes and sweet peppers are in season, we love this cucumber salad. This old family recipe is still refreshing and delicious today, and one of our first salads for lunch when cucumbers begin ripening. If it is the middle of summer and hot outside, this cold cucumber soup might hit the spot. Every year, we look forward to a farm lunch of falafel with tzatziki sauce . A tradition in Japan, is to simply slice the cucumbers and and dip into miso which is a “go to” for cucumbers as a snack for many of our farm lunches.
Sold by the pound. Normally 2 to 4 cucumbers are included in an order.
